Social Media Disciplinary cases

Daniel White, sitting as a Judicial Officer for the RFU, gave one of the leading authorities on the abuse of Social Media by a sports professional. His comments and expertise have been cited at numerous Sports Law lectures and before Sports Tribunals regarding this particular field.
Daniel’s detailed knowledge of this particular and growing area of Disciplinary Sports Law puts him in pole position to represent those accused of such infringements before any Sport’s Governing Body. Whether the accused is said to have brought their profession or sport into disrepute by Tweeting, Snap chatting, Facebooking, Instagramming or using any other form of social media such as Pinterest, Daniel will be able to advise and represent them in order to achieve a fair and proportionate result.
Daniel has advised National Sports Governing Bodies upon their use of sponsors logos and successfully negotiated civil disputes involving alleged breaches linked to the use of other logos or merchandising.
